Applications The universal oil can be used to care for moving parts of the SECACAM, such as the hinges or the self-engaging battery door. It is also popular as gun oil for care and maintenance. Other machines and tools can also be made passable again with Ballistol. Rubber seals lose their suppleness over time and become porous if care is not taken. Weathering in particular accelerates the process. A light smearing with Ballistol counteracts the aging process and thus ensures the best seal.
